Source: archive.org: Vagbhata’s Ashtanga Hridaya Samhita (first 5 chapters)Asitadeśa (असितदेश) refers to “black region”, as mentioned in verse 5.4-5 of the Aṣṭāṅgahṛdayasaṃhitā (Sūtrasthāna) by Vāgbhaṭa.—Accordingly, “[...] Indric water placed in a beautiful cup (and remaining) unspoiled one may always drink. In case of its absence, however, (it is water springing) in a clean, vast, and black- or white(-soiled) region [viz., asitadeśa] (and) hit by sun and wind that (is) most similar to atmospheric (water)”.
