Aśokaṣaṣṭhī (अशोकषष्ठी).—Name of a certain holiday; चैत्रे मास्य- सिते पक्षे षष्ठयां षष्ठीं प्रपूजयेत् । सुखाय पुत्रलाभाय शुक्लपक्षे तथैव च (caitre māsya- site pakṣe ṣaṣṭhayāṃ ṣaṣṭhīṃ prapūjayet | sukhāya putralābhāya śuklapakṣe tathaiva ca) ||.
