Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationAsaṃtuṣṭā (असंतुष्टा) refers to “(feeling) dissatisfied”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.2 (“The birth of Śiva’s son”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “After cursing the fire thus, O sage, Pārvatī, the daughter of the mountain, immediately returned to her apartment along with Śiva, dissatisfied (asaṃtuṣṭā) that she was. O great sage, after returning she persistently pleaded with Śiva and bore a son named Gaṇeśa. O sage, the details of that story I shall narrate to you later on. [...]”
