Asadadhyetṛ (असदध्येतृ).—m. a Brāhmaṇa who reads heterodox works, one who neglects his own Śākhā and studies another; also called शाखारण्डः, स्वशाखां यः परित्यज्य अन्यत्र कुरुते श्रमम् । शाखारण्डः स विज्ञेयो वर्जयेत्तं क्रियासु च (śākhāraṇḍaḥ, svaśākhāṃ yaḥ parityajya anyatra kurute śramam | śākhāraṇḍaḥ sa vijñeyo varjayettaṃ kriyāsu ca) ||
