Arthitva (अर्थित्व).—

1) State or condition of a supplicant, begging, request; न व्यहन्यत कदाचिदर्थिता (na vyahanyata kadācidarthitā) R.11.2; M.3; K.141,; तेनार्थित्वं त्वयि विधिवशाद् दूरबन्धुर्गतोऽहम् (tenārthitvaṃ tvayi vidhivaśād dūrabandhurgato'ham) Meghadūta 6; Mv. 2.9.
