Arleśvar is an archaeologically important site situated in Hangal-taluk (Dharwar district, Bombay), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Arleśvar there is a damaged stone set up near the Hanumān temple which records the death of a person in a fight. Mentions Yaleya-sirivura.

This inscription belongs to king Kannaradeva of the Yādava dynasty and is dated 1260 A.D. September 5.

There is also a pillar on the proper left side of the Kadaṃbeśvara temple which records a gift of land to god Kaḍaṃbeśvara at Alayasiriyūr situated in Eḍayolal-70 by Mādabova who had received the village as a gift from the Kadamba ruler who was governing Banavase-12000 and Pānuṃgal-500.

This inscriptions belongs to king Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Vīra-Mallikārjunadeva of the Kadamba.
