Source: What is India: Inscriptions of the ŚilāhārasArhaddeva is the name of a person mentioned in the “Kolhāpur Śeṣaśāyī temple inscription of the reign of Gaṇḍarāditya”. Accordingly, “Can any queen equal Karṇādevī, the wife of Gaṇḍaradeva, daughter of Nākirāja and devoted to the feet of Arhaddeva ?”.
This inscription (mentioning Arhaddeva) is incised on some beams of the maṇḍapa of the shrine of Śeṣaśāyī in the back yard of the great temple of Mahālakṣmī at Kolhāpur. It records the construction of the temple (caityāgāra) of Āditīrtheśvara (i.e. Ādinātha) evidently at Kolhāpur. It contains no date, but as it belongs to the reign of Gaṇḍarāditya, it is evidently of the first half of the twelfth century A.D.
