Source: archive.org: Vagbhata’s Ashtanga Hridaya Samhita (first 5 chapters)Arditajit (अर्दितजित्) refers to that which is “destructive of hemiplegia of the face”, as mentioned in verse 5.35-36 of the Aṣṭāṅgahṛdayasaṃhitā (Sūtrasthāna) by Vāgbhaṭa.—Accordingly, “[...] fresh butter of the same day (is) viriligenio, cooling, productive of colour, strength, and digestion, constipating, (and) destructive of wind, hemorrhage, consumption, hemorrhoids, hemiplegia of the face [viz., arditajit], and cough; [...]”.
