(-nakaḥ-nikā-nakam) (In the Mī-māṃsā philosophy.) Producing the unseen power or the sacrificial act called apūrva q. v. (I. 1. 2. 1. a. b.). Comp. also apūrvaniṣpādaka. E. apūrva and janaka.
