āpalakī (आपलकी).—f āpalīka f āpalapaṇā or āpalēpaṇā m (āpalā or āpaṇa) Ownness; possession through blood, affinity, mastership &c.: also the fondness, partiality, pride, or espousing promptitude pertaining to the feeling of ownness. Ex. parī hēṃ guṇēṃ ati nirguṇa āpalīka yā nāhī || 2 unc Egotism. āpalakī lāvaṇēṃ-dākhaviṇēṃ-mājaviṇēṃ To assert relationship or close connection with; to show or carry (himself) as one of us. āpalēpaṇānta yēṇēṃ To become adult; to come of age.
