Apakukṣi (अपकुक्षि):—I. [tatpurusha compound] m.

(-kṣiḥ) A miserable belly. Ii. [bahuvrihi compound] m. f. n.

(-kṣiḥ-kṣiḥ-kṣi) Having a miserable belly. Iii. Avyayībh.

(-kṣi) 1) Without a belly (i. e. with a miserable belly).

2) Except the belly (?). (This word is udātta on the last syllable; and the Kāśikā observes on this word as well as on the other formations of Pāṇ. Vi. 2. 187. that they may be [tatpurusha compound], [bahuvrihi compound] and Avyayībh.) E. apa and kukṣi.
