Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarAṇudicchāstra (अणुदिच्छास्त्र).—-the rule prescribing cognateness (सावर्ण्य (sāvarṇya)) of letters. The term refers to Pāṇini's sūtra अणुदित्सवर्णस्य चाप्रत्ययः (aṇuditsavarṇasya cāpratyayaḥ) P.I.1.69. The terms ग्रहणकशास्त्र (grahaṇakaśāstra) and सवर्णशास्त्र (savarṇaśāstra) are used in the same sense.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
