Hastyayurveda describes 30 kinds of padarogas (feet diseases) and its treatments. [...] The commonly seen disorders of foot in elephants are deep wounds, itching, fungal infections found in between and around nails, edges and underneath foot etc. At this time not wash the foot; and keep it cleanly, use antiseptic lotion daily at once.
