Antatas (अन्ततस्).—ind. [anta-tasil]

1) From the end.

2) At last, finally; at length, lastly. नलं सर्वगुणैर्युक्तं मन्ये बाहुकमन्ततः (nalaṃ sarvaguṇairyuktaṃ manye bāhukamantataḥ) Mahābhārata (Bombay) 3.71.33.

3) In part, partly.

4) Inside, within.

5) In the lowest way; (opp. mukhyataḥ, madhyataḥ***); (antataḥ may have all the senses of anta).

6) In fact; हा हन्तौदनमन्ततः शुचि- तमं तद् दृष्टमाशु त्यजेत् (hā hantaudanamantataḥ śuci- tamaṃ tad dṛṣṭamāśu tyajet) Viś. Guṇā299.
