Antaratama (अन्तरतम).—Very close or very cognate being characterized (l) by the same place of utterance, or (2) by possessing the same sense, or (3) by possessing the same qualities, or (4) by possessing the same dimension ; cf स्थानेन्तरतमः (sthānentaratamaḥ) P.I. I.50 and Kāś. thereon आन्तर्यं स्थानार्थगुणुप्रमाणतः स्थानतः दण्डाग्रम्, अर्थतः वतण्डी चासौ युवतिश्च वातण्ड्य-युवतिः । गुणतः पाकः, त्यागः, रागः । प्रमाणतः अमुष्मै अमूभ्याम् ॥ (āntaryaṃ sthānārthaguṇupramāṇataḥ sthānataḥ daṇḍāgram, arthataḥ vataṇḍī cāsau yuvatiśca vātaṇḍya-yuvatiḥ | guṇataḥ pākaḥ, tyāgaḥ, rāgaḥ | pramāṇataḥ amuṣmai amūbhyām ||)
