Nāṭyaśāstra (theatrics and dramaturgy)

Antāpaharaṇa (अन्तापहरण) refers to one of the varieties of the catuṣpadā type of song, according to the Nāṭyaśāstra chapter 31. Accordingly, “such a song which has anusvāra, and is quick in tempo, is called antāpaharaṇa”.
