Anoṅkṛta (अनोङ्कृत).—a.

1) Not attended with the sacred syllable ओम् ब्रह्मणः प्रणवं कुर्यादादावन्ते च सर्वदा । स्रवत्यनोङ्कृतं पूर्वं परस्ताच्च विशीर्यति (om brahmaṇaḥ praṇavaṃ kuryādādāvante ca sarvadā | sravatyanoṅkṛtaṃ pūrvaṃ parastācca viśīryati) || Manusmṛti 2.74.

(-taḥ-tā-tam) Not accompanied with the Om-kāra, with the mystical syllable Om (as the reading of the Veda). E. a priv. and om-kṛta.
