Anantarājupalle (hamlet of Komaravolu) is an archaeologically important site situated in Cumbum-taluk (Kurnool district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Anantarājupalle there is a slab set up in front of the Āñjaṅeya shrine which registers a gift of land for the amṛtapaḍi service of god Hanumanta at Gaṇapulapalle by Pina-Koṇḍappa Nāyuḍu, son of Veligoṭi Tirupati Nāyuḍu. The grant land is said to be situated in Komaravōlu, granted as amara to the chief by Raṅgapatiraju.

There is also a slab set up in front of the Bhairava temple near the Dāmala-cheruvu tank bund which records the renovation of the tank Dāmala-cheruvu at Komaravolu. It is dated Śaka 1511
