aṇakhara (अणखर).—m The last forced or scanty droppings of milk (during milking), afterings, strokings.

aṇakhara (अणखर).—a (A Canarese word signifying True, genuine, sound, guileless &c.) Firm, strong, stout, lasting;--used of cloths, and esp. of cloths manufactured at nārāyaṇapēṭha, remarkable both for firmness and for durability of dye. Used also of trinkets as Unalloyed or substantial. 2 Hard, harsh, sharp, peremptory: also prompt and blunt and unsophisticate;--used of speech, and, sometimes, of conduct. 3 Hard, grievous, offensive to one's feelings--a matter gen. 4 Novel, singular, rare, hard of occurrence.
