Aṃgāra (अंगार) [Also spelled angar]:—[[aṃgārā]] (nm) an ember, live coal, burning charcoal; —[ugalanā] to be fierce and fiery in speech; —[bananā]/[honā] to be red with rage, to be in a fury; —[barasanā] to be excessively hot (said of the weather); [aṃgāroṃ para paira rakhanā] to jump into hot water, to invite trouble; [aṃgāroṃ para loṭanā] to be in flames from within, to burn within (on account of jealousy or rage).
