Source: archive.org: Puranic EncyclopediaAmbājanma (अम्बाजन्म).—It is a place of sacred bath where the sage Nārada usually resides. Those who die here will attain salvation (Mokṣa) by Nārada’s blessing, according to Mahābhārata, Vana Parva, Chapter 83, Verse 81.
The Purana (पुराण, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences. The eighteen mahapuranas total over 400,000 shlokas (metrical couplets) and date to at least several centuries BCE.
