Alontyavidhi (अलोन्त्यविधि).—An operation, which, on the strength of its being enjoined by means of the genitive case, applies to the last letter of the wording put in the genitive; cf. नानर्थकेलोन्त्यविधिरनभ्यासविकारे (nānarthakelontyavidhiranabhyāsavikāre) M. Bh. on I.1.65, cf. अलोन्त्यस्य । षष्ठीनिर्दिष्टोन्त्यस्या-देशः स्यात् (alontyasya | ṣaṣṭhīnirdiṣṭontyasyā-deśaḥ syāt) S.K. on P. I.1.52.
