Source: What is India: Epigraphia Indica volume XXXI (1955-56)Allālapura is the name of an ancient city mentioned in the “Alarpur of Narasiṃha II” (1294 A. D.). Allālapura is modern Alalpur near Bhubaneswar.
These copper plate (mentioning Allālapura) were found while digging the foundation for a house in the village Alalpur. The grant was made by king Narasiṃha II in february 1294 A.D. It's object was to increase the king’s longevity, health, wealth and majesty.
