Alagum (near Jagannathprasād) is an archaeologically important site situated in Puri district (Orissa or Odisha), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Alagum there is fragmentary a stone built into the wall of local temple of Śiva called Garteśvara records an endowment of money for a perpetual lamp and land in the village of Alaguṃma in Rāmaṅga viṣaya in favour of the maṭha in the temple of god Gartteśvara by Kāmāṇḍi.

This inscription belongs to king Anantavarman (Choḍagaṅga) of the Eastern Gaṅga dynasty.
