Akulakula (अकुलकुल) or Akulakulamaya refers to “he who is Kula and Akula”, according to the according to the Ciñcinīmatasārasamuccaya.—Accordingly, “[...] In this way Rudra’s energy, the mother of persistence and destruction, has encompassed all things with (the sides of the Triangle, her) three divisions. Blissful with that, the primordial and free God of the gods who is Kula and Akula (akulakula-maya) resides in the centre of that. His Command in the form of the Drop is consciousness which bestows accomplishment and removes the fear of the fettered. [...]”.
