Akṣipālanāga (अक्षिपालनाग) is the name of a sacred spot mentioned in the Nīlamatapurāṇa.—Akṣipāla Nāga is the modern village Achabal, situated at the extremity of the hill range which lines the Kuṭahār pargana from the south.
