Akṣaragamanikā (अक्षरगमनिका) refers to a “literal meaning”, as occurring in the Anekāntajayapatākā-prakaraṇa, a Śvetāmbara Jain philosophical work written by Haribhadra Sūri.—[Cf. Vol. I, P. 42, l. 10]—‘Akṣaragamanikā’ occurs in Vol II, p. 230, l. 20 seems to imply ‘literal meaning’. The Pāiya (Prakrit) word for it is ‘akkharagamaṇiyā’, and it is used by Haribhadra in his Āvaśyakaṭīkā (p. 631b).
