Source: JatLand: South AsiaAgnivaṃśa (अग्निवंश) (or, Agnivansha) is one of Kshatriya types, who claim descent from Agni. According to Agni Purana these Kshatriyas were born from the fire which resides in Mount Abu in Northwestern India after the “destruction of ancient Kshatriyas”.
