Source: Jainworld: Jain History (h)Āghaṭapura is one of the historical names for Āhār, about three kms. east of Udaipur city. Jainism flourished here under the patronage of the Guhila rulers. Pradyumnasūri of Candra Gaccha is siad to have defeated the Digambara saints in discussions in the royal court of Allaṭa at Āghāṭa.
