Adhyaṇḍā (अध्यण्डा).—[adhikamaṇḍamiva bījaṃ yasyāḥ sā] Names of two plants (ajaśṛṅgī) Carpopogon Pruriens (Mar. meḍhaśiṃgī), and भूम्यामलकी (bhūmyāmalakī) Flacourtia Cataphracta (Mar. bhuī āṃvaḷī).

(-ṇḍā) Gowach, (Carpopogon pruriens.) E. adhi, ama to be diseased, and ḍa affix; superior to disease. See avyaṅgā. adhyaya m.
