Ādhṛṣīya (आधृषीय).—A sub-division of roots belonging to the चुरादिगण (curādigaṇa) or tenth conjugation beginning with युज् (yuj) and ending with धृष् (dhṛṣ) which take the Vikaraṇa णिच् (ṇic) optionally i.e. which are also conjugated like roots of the first conjugation; e.g. यीजयति,योजयते, योजति (yījayati, yojayate, yojati);साहयति-ते, सहति (sāhayati-te, sahati).
