Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramAdhigati (अधिगति) refers to the “(desired) attainment (of the Command of the root transmission)”, according to the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “The piercing by Rudra’s power is said to (take place) within the six types of mantras. It manifests in all (the forms of) piercing and is the desired attainment (iṣṭa-adhigati) of the Command of the root transmission. [...]”.
