Acaṭu (அசடு) noun < a-caṭu. [K. asaḍu.]

1. Stupidity; மெளட்டியம். அறிவுளோர் தமக்கும் யாதோ ரசட்து வருமேயாகில் [melattiyam. arivulor thamakkum yatho rasadthu varumeyagil] (விவேகசிந்தாமணியில் [vivegasindamaniyil] 64).

2. Fool; மூடன். அந்த அசடு எங்கே [mudan. antha asadu enge]? Colloq.
