Abhyoṣa (अभ्योष).—[abhitaḥ u-ū-ṣyate agninā dahyate, u ū-ṣ bāhu° ka]

1) A sort of cake or bread (Mar. poḷī or roṭī) (ardhasvinnayavāderghṛtādinā bharjitayavādervā ghṛtapakvānnasya 'poḷī' iti khyātasya nāma).

2) Half parched food (in general).
