Abhyāyam (अभ्यायम्).—draw, extend, protract; aim at ([accusative]). nirā stretch out. °vyā tear asunder, stretch out, extend; [Middle] (A.) struggle or contend about ([locative]). [Causative] (vyāyāmya) take excercise.
