1) To request, beg, solicit, ask, entreat (with two acc.); इमं सारगं प्रियाप्रवृत्तिनिमित्तं अभ्यर्थये (imaṃ sāragaṃ priyāpravṛttinimittaṃ abhyarthaye) V.4; मां अनभ्यर्थनीयमभ्यर्थयते (māṃ anabhyarthanīyamabhyarthayate) Mālatīmādhava (Bombay) 7; अवकाशं किलोदन्वान् रामा- याभ्यर्थितो ददौ (avakāśaṃ kilodanvān rāmā- yābhyarthito dadau) R.4.58.
