Abhyārohaṇa (अभ्यारोहण).—

1) Ascending, mounting, going up to.

2) Ascending in prayer or devotion, muttering holy prayers; अथातः पवमानानामेवाभ्यारोहः (athātaḥ pavamānānāmevābhyārohaḥ) Bṛ. Up.1.3. 28.

3) Transition from one place or state to another.

4) Progress.
