Abhinayacatuṣṭaya (ಅಭಿನಯಚತುಷ್ಟಯ):—[noun] acting as having four kinds -a) gestural (i.e. conveyed by bodily actions), b) vocal (conveyed by words), c) extraneous (conveyed by dress ornaments etc.), and d) internal (conveyed by the manifestation of the internal feeling, such as perspiration, thrilling, etc.).
