2) anxious, longing for; भवतोऽभिमनाः समीहते सरुषः कर्तुमुपेत्य माननाम् (bhavato'bhimanāḥ samīhate saruṣaḥ kartumupetya mānanām) Śiśupālavadha 16.2 (where अ° (a°) also means undaunted, of fearless mind.
