Abhavanmatasambandha (अभवन्मतसम्बन्ध):—[=a-bhavan-mata-sambandha] [from a-bhava] m. want of fitness between words and the ideas expressed by them (a defect in composition).

Abhavanmatasambandha (अभवन्मतसम्बन्ध):—[karmadharaya compound] m.

(-ndhaḥ) (In Rhetoric.) The same as abhavanmatayoga. (The word does not occur as a [bahuvrihi compound] n., but only as a [karmadharaya compound], in the Sāhityadarpaṇa; comp. the preceding). E. a-bhavat-mata and sambandha.
