阿竭多仙 [a jie duo xian]—Agastya — [Proper Noun] This immortal possessed supernatural power (通力 [tong li]). He was able to contain the water of the Ganges River (恒河 [heng he]) for twelve years within his ear hole (耳孔 [er kong]). See Nirvana Sutra (涅槃經 [nie pan jing]), Chapter 39. Sanskrit: Agastya.
