Ā-candra-tārakam.—‘as long as the moon and stars endure’ (Ep. Ind., Vol. XXXV, p. 149, text line 12), i. e. permanently. Note: ā-candra-tārakam is defined in the “Indian epigraphical glossary” as it can be found on ancient inscriptions commonly written in Sanskrit, Prakrit or Dravidian languages.
