Ḍolotsavamaṇḍapa (डोलोत्सवमण्डप) is a pavilion built for conducting the swing festival for the god. It is an open pavilion built like the vasanatamaṇḍapa. It is always constructed with a single bay, but its pillars are generally taller than those of the other maṇḍapas. Hence, the canopy of this maṇḍapa will be at a higher plane. The ceiling of the ḍolotsavamaṇḍapa will generally be plain. To the ceiling iron hooks are fixed to hang the swing. Occasionally, stone chains are also provided for the ceiling to fix the rope of the swing.
