Significance of Mode

In Jainism, the keyphrase Mode, or paryaya, denotes the various states or manifestations of the six substances. These modes represent the different forms that these substances can take. Although sensory and scriptural knowledge can reference these modes, they do not completely capture their essence, highlighting the complexity and depth of understanding required in Jain philosophy.1
