Kd.9.7.9 “This is a case, monks, where a monk, having fallen into an offence, does not want to see the offence.[1] It then occurs to monks: ‘This monk, your reverences, having fallen into an offence, does not want to see the offence. Come, let us carry out a (formal) act of suspension against him for not seeing the offence’; and they carry out a (formal) act of suspension against him for not seeing the offence, not by rule, in an incomplete assembly … by what has the appearance of rule, in a complete assembly. The cycle should be worked out.
