Part 6 - The explanation of the virtues of properly relying on them

As for the virtues of this:

By that unbiased sacred outlook will arise.
We will be versed in kindness, compassion and bodhicitta.
There will be increase of experience and realization.
Whatever measureless benefits for others one can think of
Will thereby be accomplished in the proper way.

The Sutra requested by Jewel Crown (gtsug na rin po che gyis zhus pa’i mdo) says:

O son of the gods, by attending on the spiritual friend and showing veneration, all the buddha fields will be seen. The holy samadhi of the great compassion will be attained. We will be inseparable from the perfection of prajña. We will completely ripen beings. We will attain complete accomplishment of all hopes.

By these teachings we should know how to rely on the nature of the guru.
