The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 13.17

तस्मादयं नार्हति पुष्पवाणं न हर्षणं नापि रतेर्नियोगम् ।
अर्हत्ययं भूतगणैरशेषैः सन्त्रासनातर्जनताडनानि ॥ १७ ॥

tasmādayaṃ nārhati puṣpavāṇaṃ na harṣaṇaṃ nāpi raterniyogam |
arhatyayaṃ bhūtagaṇairaśeṣaiḥ santrāsanātarjanatāḍanāni || 17 ||

'He is not worthy of my flower-shaft, nor my arrow "gladdener," nor the sending of my daughter Rati (to tempt him); he deserves the alarms and rebukes and blows from all the gathered hosts of the demons.'
