The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 13.16

शैलेन्द्रपुत्रीं प्रति येन विद्धो देवो ऽपि शम्भुश्चलितो बभूव ।
न चिन्तयत्येष तमेव वाणं किं स्यादचित्तो न शरः स एषः ॥ १६ ॥

śailendraputrīṃ prati yena viddho devo 'pi śambhuścalito babhūva |
na cintayatyeṣa tameva vāṇaṃ kiṃ syādacitto na śaraḥ sa eṣaḥ || 16 ||

'He does not even notice that arrow by which the god Shambhu was pierced with love for the daughter of the mountain and shaken in his vow; can he be destitute of all feeling? is not this that very arrow?
