The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 12.50

तच्च ध्यानं सुखं प्राप्य तत्तदेव वितर्कयन् ।
अपूर्वसुखलाभेन ह्रियते बालिशो जनः ॥ ५० ॥

tacca dhyānaṃ sukhaṃ prāpya tattadeva vitarkayan |
apūrvasukhalābhena hriyate bāliśo janaḥ || 50 ||

'And having obtained this ecstatic contemplation, and reasoning on various objects, the childish mind is carried away by the possession of the new unknown ecstasy.
