The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 10.12

ततः श्रुतार्थो मनसा गतार्थो राजा बभाषे पुरुषं तमेव ।
विज्ञायतां क्व प्रतिगच्छतीति तथेत्यथैनं पुरुषो ऽन्वगच्छत् ॥ १२ ॥

tataḥ śrutārtho manasā gatārtho rājā babhāṣe puruṣaṃ tameva |
vijñāyatāṃ kva pratigacchatīti tathetyathainaṃ puruṣo 'nvagacchat || 12 ||

The king, having heard this and perceived its meaning with his mind, thus at once spoke to that man: 'Let it be known whither he is going;' and the man, receiving the command, followed the prince.
